Dr. Wade Boykin
Dr. Wade Boykin is a Professor and Director of the Graduate Program in the Department of Psychology at Howard University in Washington, D.C. From 1994-2004, he served as Co-Director of the National Center for Research on the Education of Students Placed At Risk (CRESPAR).

Dr. Boykin has served as a fellow at the Institute for Comparative Human Development and Adjunct Associate Professor, Laboratory of Comparative Human Cognition, Rockefeller University. He was Co-Director of the Task Force on the Relevance of the Social Sciences to the Black Experience, Yale University. He served as a member of the Emergency Commission on Urban Children, National Education Association, been a member of the National Academy of Education Panel on Strengthening the Capacity for Research to Contribute to Educational Practice and Public Policy, a member of the American Educational Research Association Panel on Improving Federal Educational Research Programs, as well as a member of the Task Force on Scientific Perspectives on Intelligence Tests and Group Differences in Test Scores with American Psychological Association. He is presently a Research Advisory Panel Member for the National Minority Student Achievement Network.
