State Readiness for Scaling-up of Effective Educational Practices Community of Practice
Statement of Purpose:
Through involvement in a new, Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) funded Community of Practice (CoP), states will have an opportunity to learn from the experiences of the four active Center on State Implementation and Scaling-up of Evidence-based Practices (SISEP) states, SISEP staff, various OSEP TA Centers staff, and other educational leaders. The State Readiness for Scaling Up of Effective Educational Practices CoP (“State Readiness CoP”) will provide guidance to states to assess their readiness for scaling up effective educational practices. In addition, states may use this opportunity to determine the critical needs for their students and to consider the most effective educational practice(s) to meet those needs.
